Rico and Mambo are some of the most recognizable radio personalities in Ventura and Santa Barbara Counties, with over 18 years individually in the market and together as a team since 1996. Rico and Mambo grew up in Ventura County, they have family and friends in Ventura and Santa Barbara County, and they began their radio careers in Ventura County. This explains their deep roots in the Community.
When ever there was a call for help from the community, they knew that Rico and Mambo would step forward to lend a hand. Some beneficiaries are:
Ventura County Sheriffs Toy Drive – Food Share Food Drive – Easter Seals – American Cancer Society Walk For Life – Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation – Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Ventura County – Parents of Murdered Children (Day Of Remembrance) – Plus dozens of causes large and small that have come from the community over the years
Street credibility is earned. Rico and Mambo understand their responsibility to the community that helped shape their lives and gave them the opportunity to act as communicators and entertainers.

Been listening to you guys for a few months now from down here in upper San Diego County ( yes, Q104.7 comes in on the radio down here in the upper part of the county). Rico and Mambo kick ass every morning. Kidd Spin kicks ass every Friday morning. Brings back memories! Love the Delimma of the Day! Keep up the good work. Hopefully, you guys can get Lil Rob to go in to the studio before the concert at the Santa Fe Springs Casino.
